Mikey Hersom is one of the world’s most accomplished sports activation marketers. He is best known for revolutionizing traditional consumer events and sponsorships within the sports realm — the Olympic Torch Relay and FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour being two examples — by bringing them to life in fully integrated ways.
After a five-year marketing assignment with Coca-Cola Southern Africa, in 2001 he came home and started his career with experiential agency ignition. In 2007, Mikey was named ignition’s President and minority owner, and five years later achieved his second landmark victory when ignition officially sold to Havas in 2012. The company’s recent evolution into Havas Sports and Entertainment caps off an impressive career spanning over 80 countries, six continents and activation budgets in excess of $100 million.
No matter the challenge, Mikey stresses the importance of positive human energy. He cheers for the Wisconsin Badgers or any sports team from Boston, and enjoys quality time with his wife and son.
Stacy Fuller has crafted iconic campaigns for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. At Havas Sports and Entertainment USA, she works across all three creative specialty units: experiential, original branded content, and partnership content.
After beginning her advertising career at Rapp Collin’s office in Chicago, she spent time at Deutsch LA, Y&R’s BrandBuzz, Translation, and digital agency R/GA. Stacy has been part of the Havas family since 2011, leading boutique content agency Cake and serving as acting Head of Content for Havas North America. Since joining, she has created a pop up news site for Yahoo!, developed a VitaminWater TV show for MTV, built a greenhouse for Sephora in the middle of Manhattan, turned Phil Dunphy into the face of the National Association of Realtors and partnered Songza with Keurig to form Brew Tunes. She was instrumental in the creation of HSE USA.
Her friends refer to Stacy as the Cruise Director, because in her free time she organizes adventures and documents them across social media. She is a media junkie who lives to keep her finger on the pulse of what’s happening in pop culture.
Brad Jansen is a sports and entertainment marketing expert who has spent the past 20 years using the power of fan passions to grow brands.
He has helped major global brands like Coca-Cola, Disney, Volvo, Citroen, Motorola and Louis Vuitton shape their strategies to deliver engaging experiences and create shareable content, with his expertise extending to major rights holders across music and sports. He joined Havas 7 years ago as the CEO of Havas Sport and Entertainment and Havas Digital in South Africa after years as an event creator and promoter, where he was responsible for hosting and broadcasting international soccer tournaments with teams like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs. Brad moved to the US in 2013 to lead the global Coca-Cola relationship of the Havas Group, and in 2017 became Executive Vice President of Strategy, New Business and Partnerships for Havas Sports & Entertainment USA.
Passions include his family, any sport with a ball, and riding Mustangs—both the horse and the car.
Daniel Dao has led some of the industry’s most famous sports and entertainment activations, and now oversees Client Services and Production at Havas Sports and Entertainment USA.
He began his marketing career on the road, managing a national tour for Coca-Cola while in college. Since then, Daniel has worked in over 70 countries and crisscrossed the globe more times than he can count on behalf of projects like the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour and the Olympic Torch Relay. The grassroots activation toolkits he created to support the 2007 Live Earth concert were used in 130 countries at 10,000 events to reach millions of people.
When not working, Daniel plays golf and enjoys spending time with his wife and dog in the Georgia mountains.
Jenna has spent her career forging successful partnerships between brands and entertainment properties.
She began her career at Grey Global Group before moving to WPP’s M&A group to focus on entertainment investments and acquisitions. At The Leverage Group (now ESP Properties) she led all Business Development efforts and was responsible for clients such as National Geographic Entertainment and the TriBeCa Film Festival. More recently, Jenna helped launch United Entertainment Group (UEG), a joint venture with United Talent Agency, managing entertainment marketing efforts for P&G Beauty & Grooming brands. She's served as executive and functional lead across all client teams at Cake Group US for the past 5 years, before its merger with ignition to form Havas Sports and Entertainment.
Outside of work, Jenna enjoys being retweeted and running with her golden retriever, Bailey.
Amanda Daniels has project-managed iconic global integrated marketing campaigns during her storied career.
She spent 15 years at ignition, where her fearlessness was key to her success in leading projects for brands such as Harley-Davidson, Samsung, IndyCar, and burn Energy Drink’s Lotus / F1 sponsorship. Embedded within the local Coca-Cola offices, she also has managed Coca-Cola’s sponsorships of the 2008, 2010 and 2012 Olympic Games, in addition to Coca-Cola’s Olympic Torch Relay and Games Time Experiential sponsorship for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
A natural adventurer, Amanda has lived her working life in Vermont, Atlanta, Beijing, London, New York City and Rio de Janiero. She currently resides in Atlanta.
A.J. Silverman co-leads the Sports & Entertainment Partnership practice with a focus on IP Development and cognitive technology. He lives and breathes sports and entertainment, but that’s not all he brings to the table.
He ran the New York Comedy Festival for three years, and delivered the People’s Choice Awards’ first multi-million dollar in-show integration. A.J. looks beyond brand marketing partnerships to view businesses holistically, an outlook that powered the B2B partnership he developed for Cisco that resulted in the brand becoming a Founding Partner of the Sports Museum of America. A.J. launched Live Nations Branded Entertainment practice and go-to-market strategy, and went on to executive produce Live Nation’s first web series, The Rider Challenge presented by FORD. He has also worked at United Entertainment Group (UEG), Octagon, and the NY Mets.
When not keeping an eye on new ways to grow business and creating new solutions for our clients, you’ll find this avid softball player and wine-maker collecting great Bourbon or spending time with his wife and two daughters.
John Teter’s creativity and passion for excellence have taken his work around the globe, where it has been recognized by the Addys and Effies.
He has driven creative ideas at several Atlanta agencies, notably Ogilvy & Mather, before landing at ignition and Havas Sports and Entertainment USA. During his 17 years of industry experience, John has led the creative on accounts such as Coca-Cola, Harley-Davidson, Under Armour, Chick-fil-A, Durex, and The Boy Scouts of America, to name a few.
As a kid, John had a thing for fast cars and you might find him trying to live the dream at the local Go Kart track. He enjoys spending downtime with his wife and daughters.
Manny Diaz has traveled to over 145 countries to activate award-winning brand experiences with budgets in excess of $1M.
At Havas Sports and Entertainment USA, he leads the Global FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, and works with others on the Client Services and Production team to curate extraordinary moments in real time. Notably, Manny has worked on the Beijing 2018 Olympic Torch Relay; 2010 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour Africa; London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay; and 2016 Rio Olympic Torch Relay. Awards include the Grand Ex Award for 2012 and 2013, and the 2013 Reggie Award for experiential marketing.
In his free time, Manny enjoys photography, soccer, and collecting fine art from artists such as Shepard Fairey.
Abby Daprano is as passionate about mentoring new talent as she is planning and executing world-class events.
Before coming to Havas Sports and Entertainment USA, she traveled the country representing brands as a mobile marketing tour manager for HOST Communications, ProMotion, Marketing Werks, and The Schwan Food Company. As Group Director at ignition, she worked on brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, McDonald’s, Harley-Davidson, and BP. She spends much of her time introducing young talent to the world of experiential marketing.
When not working, Abby is an adventurous traveler and cooking enthusiast who never prepares the same meal twice.
Andy Williams combines deep expertise in experiential marketing with a lifelong passion for sports.
After beginning his career as an event coordinator at Georgia Dome, he went on to help organize the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City and serve as Director of Events at various collegiate athletic departments. Most recently, Andy led the Harley-Davidson account at ignition, and worked with brands such as Delta, Coca-Cola, and Georgia Power. Notably, in 2015 he launched the Chick-fil-A College Football Experience as part of the College Football Playoffs.
When not working or playing golf, Andy can be found with his wife cheering on their athletic sons from the sidelines. He also serves as the voice of the North Gwinnett Bulldogs football team.
