HAVAS S&E - THE OFFICIAL ANNECY 2018 OLYMPIC BID COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING AGENCY
The 'Annecy 2018' association, created in June 2009 to present the candidacy of the city of Annecy as the future host of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympics Games, has officially announced Havas Sports & Entertainment (HSE) as the contracted agency concluding an invitation to tender launched last October.
The agency will accompany the Committee over the ensuing 19 months on behalf of their communication and marketing effort in France and internationally, until the date in which the International Olympic Committee will elect the host city.
Havas Sports & Entertainment has previously accompanied Annecy 2018 during their successful French national candidature phase against the cities of Grenoble, Nice and Pelvoux.
The Annecy 2018 Committee - from this point forward to be referred to as " French Applicant City " - has decided to entrust, until July 2011, various missions to the same team that accompanied the Committee during the pre-candidature phase. Various teams from Havas Sports & Entertainment will be mobilized for a variety of missions: consulting and strategic benchmarking, marketing & communication strategy, and press relations in France and internationally.
Havas Sports & Entertainment was awarded this mission by successfully responding to tender invitations proposed by the Committee last October. HS&E worked in association with the following first round partners:
- 360 Euro RSCG, creativity, web creation
- Mégaphone Team, event organization
- Altius Prod, audiovisual production
- Havas Media, purchase of media space

The other bidding cities up against Annecy 2018, not to be forgotten, are Munich (Germany) and PyeongChang (South Korea).
