HAVAS S&E CONTINUES GLOBAL EXPANSION AS 25th OFFICE OPENS IN BRAZIL
Havas Sports & Entertainment (HS&E), the global sports and entertainment network of Havas Group, today announced the opening of their office in São Paulo, Brazil.
The opening of the Brazil operation takes the network’s growing global expansion to 25 offices in 20 countries, and firmly solidifies HS&E‘s presence in this fast growing market as it prepares for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics Games. Following a highly successful, fully integrated global campaign with Yahoo!, which culminated in a penalty shoot out event in Rio de Janeiro, HS&E is bolstering support for its local and global clients with the appointment of Eduardo Corch, former head of sports marketing for adidas, and recently appointed General Manager for the Brazilian operation.
Corch has 10 years of experience in sports marketing with agencies, clubs and brands. In his role at adidas, Corch worked with clubs such as Fluminense andPalmeiras, and managed partnerships and projects with international football stars such as Kaka, Lucio and Luis Fabiano amongst others.

Havas Sports & Entertainment will join Yahoo! to present their global engagement campaign around the World Cup, at the Global B2B Football conference Soccerex, on November 23rd at 4 pm in Rio de Janeiro. Boyer will be joined by Ligia Carmo, Brand Director, Yahoo! Brazil, to present "Blending the online and offline: How Yahoo! engages fans around the world's biggest sporting events". A reception and media interviews will follow the workshop.
